What is Cannabidiol?

CannaTru® FAQ

Where are the CannaTru® Ingredients Sourced?

All CannaTru® ingredients are sourced in the U.S.A.

How is the CannaTru® product's solution sterilized?

Our sterilization methods are proprietary. Sterilization occurs in an FDA regulated facility in accordance with the relevant national and international standards.

Is the CannAbsorb® Oral Spray all natural?

CannAbsorb® product ingredients are naturally derived. The products are made from purified water and then infused with our Patented Nano-Emulsified Anhydrous CBD oil formula. We then mix natural peppermint oil, Potassium Sorbate, and Sodium Benzoate with our formula to create a unique blend suited for great taste and powerful effects.

Are CannaTru® products manufactured on the same line as anything with peanuts?

We do not manufacture anything with peanuts in our facility.

What is the source of the water in CannaTru® Products?

The water in CannaTru® Products comes from a municipal water source. It is not distilled, but it does go through a rigorous purification process. It is first passed through a series of natural filters, followed by a membrane filtration. It is then subjected to reverse osmosis followed by deionization. As a result of this treatment the water that is used is of the highest purity and contains essentially no dissolved molecules or ions. It is free of fluoride.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as a medicine going back thousands of years. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. A safe, non-addictive substance, CBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile.

What can CBD provide relief for?

CBD can provide relief for chronic pain, anxiety, inflammation, depression and many other conditions. Extensive scientific research – much of it sponsored by the U.S. government – and mounting anecdotal accounts from patients and physicians highlight CBD’s potential to help with a wide range of maladies, including (but not limited to): Autoimmune diseases (inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis) Neurological conditions (Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Huntington’s chorea, stroke, traumatic brain injury) Metabolic syndrome (diabetes, obesity) Neuropsychiatric illness (autism, ADHD, PTSD, alcoholism) Gut disorders (colitis, Crohn’s) Cardiovascular dysfunction (atherosclerosis, arrhythmia) Skin disease (acne, dermatitis, psoriasis)

Hemp CBD vs Marijuana CBD

Medical Marijuana Derived CBD -Can provide real relief from the use of cannabidiols -Contains high levels of THC in conjunction with high levels of CBD for increased effectiveness in certain conditions -May have the ability to have very high cannabinoid content in a small application -Can be found in many varieties and strains with varying flavors, percentages and more. -Can be hard to obtain or illegal depending on your location -Carries the possibility of causing undesirable effects because of the higher THC and associated “high”. Hemp Derived CBD -Can provide real relief from the use of cannabidiols -Is legal in all 50 states -Is easily obtained through websites online -Does not contain THC and will not give you an “associated” high -Has the option of variety in flavor via flavored oils, e-juice, and tinctures. -Does not contain a significant enough amount of THC to be able to use the benefits of THC

What is CBDA?

Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and the acidic precursor to CBD. CBDA can be found in the live or raw form of cannabis, particularly in the hemp plant and strains bred to cultivate higher CBD levels. CBDA converts to CBD through decarboxylation, which occurs when cannabis is exposed to heat or sunlight. CBDA shows promise as an anticonvulsant, anti-nausea and vomiting agent, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. CBDA may also have antibacterial, antioxidant and cancer preventing properties. CBDA isn’t known to bind directly with the CB1 and CB2 receptors but interacts with the ECS as an inhibitor to the COX-2 enzyme, giving CBDA the potential to reduce inflammatory activity throughout the body. CBDA is also thought to enhance the serotonin producing 5-HT receptor. This particular interaction could possibly make CBDA a primary contributor to the antiemetic effects of cannabis.

What is CBDV?

Cannabidivarin (CBDV) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that will not cause the euphoric feeling of being “high.” It is found more prevalently in indica strains, specifically landrace indica strains, and strains that are lower in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Like CBD, CBDV significantly reduces the frequency and severity of seizures. It also reduces or even eliminates nausea associated with several conditions, and helps to reduce inflammation throughout the body. CBDV is also beneficial in the treatment of pain and mood disorders. Research has shown that CBDV is effective in the treatment of a variety of symptoms and conditions. Examples of conditions for which CBDV is particularly effective in providing symptom relief are listed below: Seizures Crohn’s HIV/AIDS Multiple Sclerosis

What is Nano-Emulsified CBD?

In science, nano suggests concentration, intensification, or enhanced. CannaTru's Nano-Emulsified CBD Isolate is amped up with an additional scientific step in its processing. With that amplified process, it helps the CBD Isolate move faster through the body to deliver a more efficient effect. CannaTru's Nano-Emulsified CBD is a new type of hemp isolate. The extraction process removes the terpenes to create a purer CBD. That’s the opposite of “full-spectrum” CBD which retains the terpenes. In the manufacturing of Nano-Emulsified hemp CBD products, the process extracts oil through a CO2 process to eliminate impurities and toxins with no leave-behind chemicals. The extraction is as pure and clean as it comes. The oil can then be introduced to hemp CBD products where they go through more filtering processes. To create the enhanced Nano-Emulsified CBD Isolate, we added a step to speed the delivery to the consumer’s bloodstream. We surround the CBD compounds with a coating of microscopic balls of fat. These nanoballs are liposomes built of phospholipids, the same elements you’ll find in cell membranes. The liposomes act like ball bearings slipping the CBD benefits into your blood system more quickly and potently. Researchers claim the absorption rate of CBD hemp oil’s Nano-liposomal delivery is close to 100 percent. It speeds past digestive and gastrointestinal processes to deliver its bio-availability immediately leaving no CBD wasted. Emulsion soaks hemp in water or other liquids to separate its components producing an extractible oil. The traditional microemulsion divided the water and oil using a large amount of the fluid which also diluted the quality. Nano emulsion uses much less fluid leaving a more potent isolate.
